- First, prepare your Soap Base. Cut 500g of SoapLab’s Transparent Soap Base into little cubes, the smaller the cubes the faster it will melt.
- Place the cubes in a microwavable container. Place container in the microwave. Melt them at 20 seconds interval. Check during each intervals, this is to avoid your soap from getting burnt.
- Once soap base is ready and melted, add in 5g of Orange Juice Fragrance Oil into the melted soap base. Use a pipette for ease measuring & dispensing.
- Next, add in Frankincense Essential Oil into the mixture. Again, use a pipette if necessary.
- Add in premixed Sparkle Silver into the mixing container. Then, mix everything with a spatula.
- Next, split soap mixture into two equal parts. Pour slowly as soap might still be warm at this point.
- Add in Green Mica that has been diluted with some glycerin into container 1. Do not mix, slowly swirl container to allow mica to be slightly dispersed in soap.
- Next, add in premixed Synstar Red Mica in soap mixture in container 2. Again, do not mix, just swirl.
- Next, grab your molds and Rubbing Alcohol. Spray the mold with alcohol in order to provide a sterile surface, ideal for your solid soap to sit in. Pour soap mixture from both containers into their respective mold then spray again with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles.
- Once harden, remove soap from mold like so.
- Cut soap into 5 equal parts using a normal kitchen knife. Then, take one part and cut it in half.
- Cut soap at an angel repeatedly. The more irregular it gets, the better.
- Repeat steps 8 to 10 with the other block of soap to get a different colour of crystal soap. Then soap is ready to use (:
