Hand Series: Night Healing Cream For Hands (Coconut)

Hi all today’s recipe is for the Coconut Overnight Healing Cream. This healing cream will be a welcome relief to dry hands and help reduce scarring or any other inflammation

Firstly, to make these you will need a shea olive cream base. SoapLab’s Shea Olive cream base is made using shea butter and pure olive oil. This is extremely moisturizing and also nourishes the skin. It also hydrates the skin, leaving it with a radiant glow. 

For the extra ‘umph’; Vitamin E is also added to moisturize and soften the skin. It is rich with antioxidants, which will make the skin healthier.. 

This cream is already great to be used on its own but to ‘spice’ it up a little more; we added creamy coconut fragrance oil for an aroma which will transport you to a beautiful beach!

Apply these on your hands before sleeping and se how great your hands feels the next day! If you are one of those with really badly dried skin; apply these and wear a breathable gloves. It will help the ‘healing’ faster! Good Luck!

Ingredients: (makes 200g Cream)

1. 200g SoapLab’s Shea Olive Cream Base
2. 2g Creamy Coconut Fragrance Oil 
3. 1g Vitamin E
4. 10 sprays of Rubbing Alcohol
5. 60g storage jar x 3

Visual Guide  

1.  In a mixing container, put in 200g SoapLab’s Shea Olive Cream Base.  
   
   
   
2. Add in Vitamin E into the mixing container. 
   
   
   
3. Add in 2g of Creamy Coconut Fragrance Oil to the container. You may use a pipette to make it easier to measure and dispense the oil.
   
   
   
4. Using a normal baking spatula, mix cream, oil and Vitamin E together.  
   
   
   
5. Get your disposable piping bag and transfer all of your mixture into it. This will make an easy transfer from mixing container to storage jar.  
   
   
   
6. Spray storage container with rubbing alcohol to remove any existing impurities & bacteria. 
   
   
   
7. Using a pair of scissors, snip off the end of the piping bag, now its ready to fill. Fill mixture until it reaches the brim of the jar. Do not overfill as it will spill and overflow when you screw your cap on. 
   
   
   
8. Screw on the cap and this hand cream is ready to be use (:
