How To Make Orange Soap (CNY 2019 Special)

Hi everyone! Final recipe for the CNY season continues with the citrus theme :)  We’ll be making Peel Good Orange Soap today. To begin, we use SoapLab’s transparent soap base, yes we know everyone is tired running around and eating too much. So we made sure that this soap is very simple to make :)

Next, add some Fresh Orange fragrance oil that will freshen up any dull or tiring day you’ve had, and make you feel amazing!  Citrus scents are known to reduce stress and anxiety and enhance overall well being. To get the pretty colors you see, we use Saffron Mica and Yellow Gold mica coloring so that your soap is exciting to look at even before you use it. All the golden colors totally scream prosperity!

  1. Using a kitchen knife, cut SoapLab’s Transparent Soap Base into small cubes. The smaller the cube, the faster it will melt.
  2. Place cubes into a heat resistant container and melt at 20 seconds interval. Check on soap constantly to avoid soap from getting burn.
  3. Once melted, pour out 100g of melted soap. Set the rest aside. Add premixed Saffron Mica into the 100g melted soap.

  4. Using a pipette (optional) , add in Orange Juice Fragrance Oil into the mixture. Then, mix everything with a spatula.

  5. Pour soap into the silicon mold that has been sanitised with some rubbing alcohol. Leave soap to set for 30 minutes.

  6. Once done, remove soap from the mold carefully.

  7. Cut the soap into 6 equal parts using a kitchen knife.

  8. Separately in the other container, add in premixed Yellow Mica.

  9. Next, add in Orange Juice Fragrance Oil. Mix using a spatula.

  10. Arrange Orange soap bits into a bigger round plastic mold to look like orange slices.

  11. Pour in the yellow soap mixture into each mold carefully. Spray on rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles and leave soap to harden for 12 hours.

  12. Once soap has set, push soap out of the mold like so.

  13. And just like that, your peel good soap is ready to be use!
